Beekeeping is a fascinating, complex and absorbing activity. It is important that people who are interested in taking it up, either as a hobby or as a business, have a good understanding of the principles and techniques behind the successful keeping of bees.

To this end, the Association offers an annual Beginners Course, consisting of a series of talks and hands-on experience of beekeeping starting in April each year. The course is held at the Association's Training Apiary on a Sunday morning.  The number of participants on the course is limited to 20.

The latest information to the "2020 BEEKEEPING BEGINNERS COURSE 2020" is available via this page.
